Description
The Aerpro AKVW13 9" Installation Kit includes all components required to install a 9-inch trapezoid-shaped aftermarket head unit into selected Volkswagen vehicles equipped with a Blaupunkt factory amplifier.
Designed for a seamless upgrade, the AKVW13 retains key factory features including steering wheel controls (including phone button), vehicle menu access, HVAC / climate control visualisation, and parking sensor display on the aftermarket screen (if equipped). The kit also maintains compatibility with the factory amplified audio system where applicable (model dependent).
This kit is engineered specifically for universal 9" trapezoid-style radios and delivers a clean, OEM-style finish when upgrading your factory head unit.
Important: This kit is not compatible with vehicles fitted with a factory Panasonic amplified system. For those vehicles, use the Aerpro AKVW12 Head Unit Upgrade Kit.
