High-Excursion Bass with HEDGE Surround Technology
At the heart of the BRV-S40 is Alpine’s HEDGE (High Excursion Design Gathered Edge) surround technology. This innovation dramatically increases woofer excursion, allowing the speaker to move more air and generate higher sound pressure levels in the 67Hz to 120Hz frequency range.
With a maximum linear excursion peak of 20mm, the BRV-S40 produces controlled, punchy bass from a compact speaker, giving a significant low-end improvement over standard factory 4-inch speakers.

Featuring a Neodymium magnet, the tweeter offers excellent efficiency and control in a compact size, providing clear, articulate highs up to 20kHz for a more realistic and engaging listening experience.
