The Alpine Status sound system is a high-resolution audio solution designed for audiophiles who want to build their ideal sound system. The system draws from the engineering and design concepts of the Ultra High-Resolution AlpineF#1Status system to achieve high-precision music reproduction at an accessible price point. The Alpine Status system is flexible, allowing components to be purchased and used in standalone configuration.
The Alpine Status system features Hi-Res Audio enabled speakers, including the HDZ-653S Slim-Fit 3-Way speaker set with a high-resolution bandwidth of 55Hz – 40kHz. The speakers feature a 170mm door woofer, 96mm mid-range, and 40mm Slim-Fit tweeter that is easy to install in original tweeter locations of the car. All speaker cones are made from the same Carbon Composite material to achieve a unified timbre identity during playback.
The Alpine Status system is designed to play music tracks at 192kHz / 24bit format, which are widely accessible in many online stores and streaming platforms. This capability creates a heightened listening experience in the vehicle that emulates the feeling of an intimate recording studio session. The 3-way system includes 170mm door woofers, 96mm mid-range speakers, and 70mm ring-radiator tweeters with 25mm voice coil and high-end X-over networks.
All speakers use backed carbon composite cones for excellent harmonics, dynamics, and low distortion. The double-gathered edge technology reduces sound distortion caused by cone wobble at higher volume levels. The 70mm Hi-res Audio ring-radiator tweeters play up to 40kHz and feature a 25mm carbon fiber diaphragm for a fully unified timbre identity.
The Alpine Status system is optimized in both power and performance as a complete system, but each component can be purchased independently for custom system building. The included 3-way x-over networks offer many adjustment possibilities and the slim-fit version of the 3-way system, the HDZ-653S, is available for stealthy speaker installations or when space is limited.
Alpine Status achieves 192kHz/24Bit playback, which exceeds the standard High-Resolution spec of 96kHz/24Bit found in most aftermarket sound solutions. This allows the system to capture and accurately reproduce details, emulating the experience of a studio recording in the vehicle.
