Custom-Built Subwoofer Enclosure Featuring Alpine R2 Series

The star of this upgrade was the Alpine RS-W10D4 — a 10" dual 4-ohm subwoofer from Alpine’s legendary R-Series. Known for their power, precision, and deep bass response, this subwoofer was housed in a custom enclosure fabricated in-house by our expert technicians at Strathfield Car Radios.

We designed the enclosure specifically to sit neatly in the Commodore’s boot, maximising both space and acoustic performance. The result was a sub box that looked factory-fitted but packed the punch of a high-end custom setup.

Powering the sub is the Alpine R2-A75M Mono Amplifier, delivering clean, controlled power to the R2 sub and letting it perform at its absolute best without distortion, even at higher volumes.
