Aerpro FP9550BK Double Din headunit installation kit to suit Holden VW Series 2 Piano black finish
The Aerpro FP9550BK Head Unit Install Kit, created and developed in Australia, enables the installation of an aftermarket double din head unit into Holden VE Series 2 vehicles. The SV6, SV6Z, SS, SSZ, and SSV models that feature black trim surrounding the factory display and temperature control unit are compatible with the piano black kit. The kit keeps crucial factory features including steering wheel controls, reverse camera, AUX input, USB input and microphone, and the integrated IPS display provides outside temperature, climate control and factory parking sensor visualisation. Additionally, it has two USB pass-through connectors and outputs for the handbrake, reverse gear, and speed.
This kit comes with a built-in HVAC and SWC unit, a piano black trim panel, a universal SWC patch lead, a USB retention lead, a camera retention lead, an antenna adaptor, a mounting kit, support brackets, and a manual. We advise using Aerpro APP8 or APP9 aftermarket head unit harnesses to make installation easier (sold separately).

This kit is designed for SV6, SV6Z, SS, SSZ and SSV variants that have black trim around the factory display and climate control unit. For vehicles with silver/grey use FP9550GK.
For steering wheel control retention the aftermarket head unit must be SWC compatible.
For reverse camera retention the aftermarket head unit requires a reverse camera input.
For USB retention the aftermarket head unit requires a rear USB input.
For AUX retention the aftermarket head unit requires a rear RCA AUX input.
For microphone retention the aftermarket head unit requires a 3.5mm external microphone input (models with 2.5mm connection will require an adaptor, not included).
The dual USB ports are pass through only, the aftermarket head unit requires rear USB inputs for connection.
Nav button on steering wheel controls does not function with this kit.
