Aerpro SWVW3V Steering Wheel Control & Reverse Camera Retention Interface to Suit VW Amarok, Golf, Transporter T5, Tiguan & More (RNS510 / RNS315 / RCD510)
Upgrading your Volkswagen to a new aftermarket head unit? The Aerpro SWVW3V lets you keep your factory steering wheel controls and your factory reverse camera after you swap out the original stereo. It suits a range of Volkswagen vehicles with the RNS510, RNS315 or RCD510 original head unit and a quadlock connector, including the Amarok, Golf MK5 and MK6, Transporter T5, Tiguan, Passat, Caddy and Polo.
The SWVW3V converts the factory RGB camera signal to a standard CVBS video output via RCA, so your factory reverse camera displays on your new head unit. That includes cameras hidden behind the motorised rear VW badge, with the badge still controlled by the vehicle as normal. Active guidelines are also retained on vehicles that have them.
The interface is CAN-Bus compatible and provides reverse trigger, park brake, speed pulse and illumination outputs. The harness has a vehicle-specific plug that connects straight into your VW's existing wiring, so you don't need to cut the factory harness. For an even simpler install, pair it with the optional Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness (sold separately).

- Only suits vehicles with an RNS510, RNS315 or RCD510 head unit and a quadlock connector
- Not compatible with factory amplified sound systems
- Your aftermarket head unit must be steering wheel control (SWC) compatible and have an RCA reverse camera input
- The factory reverse camera, motorised badge camera and active guidelines are retained only where factory fitted. This interface doesn't add them to vehicles that didn't come with them.
- In some vehicles, the factory Bluetooth module may need to be disconnected for the steering wheel phone buttons to work
- For voice assistant, your head unit and phone must also support the feature
- Steering wheel control functions may differ from the original factory functions
