This product is specific to a Landrover Discovery 3 with the fibre optic connection so my comments will be specific to that vehicle. Positives 1. The interface works well and is reasonably simple to install. 2. Delivery was quick, arrived within a week. 3. Price from Strathfield was competitive to other suppliers. 4. Awesome sound quality through factory equipment Negatives 1. Despite competitive price, still very expensive for what is does however I can image not a large market to recoup the development costs. 2. I installed a Sony apple CarPlay head unit, the illumination control did not work correctly and dimmed as soon as the vehicle moved. This is to do with how the illumination control functions on the landrover. I corrected this by rewiring the illumination input to the head unit to be fed from the the landrover ‘side light’ (parking light) fuses F2 or fuse F3 inside vehicle passenger side. Now works perfectly. This could have been included in the instructions.
