Important Mitsubishi Outlander Installation Information
The Aerpro AKMB11 is designed specifically for universal 9-inch trapezoid-shaped aftermarket radios. It is not designed for standard DIN or double-DIN head units.
The Pioneer DMH-AP6850BT is supplied as the head unit in this package and is paired with the vehicle-specific Aerpro AKMB11 installation components to create a complete Mitsubishi Outlander head unit upgrade.
The head unit ISO harness is not included with the AKMB11 kit. An Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness is recommended and is sold separately.
The AKMB11 does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features but comes with a steering wheel control adapter. When setting up a compatible Pioneer head unit, instead of selecting CAN Bus Adapter on boot-up, go to the Menu and select Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter.
