Important Volkswagen Installation Information
The Aerpro AKVW15 is designed to suit universal 9-inch trapezoid-shaped aftermarket radios. It will not suit standard DIN or double-DIN sized radios.
The AKVW15 does not support Pioneer CAN Bus features but comes with a steering wheel control adapter. Instead of selecting CAN Bus Adapter on Pioneer head unit boot-up, go to Menu > Steering Wheel Control > With Adapter.
Feature retention is radio dependent and may vary according to the exact Volkswagen model, year, factory equipment and aftermarket head unit.
An ignition stabiliser may be required for Stop/Start-equipped vehicles.
When installing a High Definition camera, the camera resolution will be reduced when using this product.
Head unit ISO harness is not included with the Aerpro AKVW15. Aerpro recommends installation with an Aerpro APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness, sold separately.
