Description
Aerpro ARVPST17 Power Tailgate Kit for Volkswagen Passat B8 Sedan 2017-2023
This kit converts the boot lid of the Volkswagen Passat B8 sedan to power operation, and it's compatible with the ARTGKS Kick Sensor for hands-free opening.
Inside the kit are vehicle-specific electric struts and a dedicated boot lid ECU that controls opening, closing and safety. It's designed around the Passat B8 Sedan, so there's no universal hardware to adapt.
Key Features
- Three ways to operate: remote key, factory boot lid button or the new switch supplied with the kit
- Full control mid-movement: stop the boot lid wherever you like and reverse it with a second press
- Kick sensor ready: compatible with the Aerpro ARTGKS Kick Sensor (sold separately) for hands-free opening with a kick under the rear bumper
- Fully adjustable: set the maximum opening height, opening speed, closing speed and braking force
- Anti-pinch protection: the boot lid stops and reverses if it meets an obstruction
- Audible confirmation: beeps confirm each action
- Vehicle-specific fit: engineered for the Volkswagen Passat B8 Sedan 2017-2023
